An early Spring morning photo session at the southern beach in Santa Cruz, CA known as Pajaro Dunes. This is an ideal location for morning and evening photography sessions, especially family sessions. The beach to shore is relatively flat and the expanse allows for plenty of movement in between the dog walkers and shore fishermen.
Additionally, the dunes are a great place to start a photo session. With a dramatic eucalyptus grove meeting us at the parking lot on our short walk to the beach, to the soft and dreamy sandy dunes, this location provides plenty of options, especially if the sun is a bit too bright upon our arrival.
